How to Apply for Global Entry:
Citizens of India are eligible for Global Entry. Applications must be submitted through CBP’s Trusted Traveler Programs (TTP) website.
Application Process for background check for GEP:
1. Apply Online with US CBP: Apply and complete application process at TTP websitehttps://www.cbp.gov/travel/trusted-traveler-programs/global-entry of US CBP.
2. For the applicant presently living in USA, after completion of step ‘1’, he/she needs to submit the requisite information in the website of Global Passport Seva Project (www.embassy.passportindia.gov.in ) for completion of background check in India. After completion of online submission, he/she should submit the application at CKGS office according to the Consular jurisdiction, along with the applicable fee of US$ 25 (and CKGS charges of US$ 19.95 and US$ 2 as Indian Community Welfare Fund (ICWF)) and required original documents.
