As part of engaging the Diaspora Youth with the Motherland, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India is conducting Know India Programmme (KIP). The flagship programme of MEA is designed to engage and famliarise the young diaspora members (excluding NRIs) with the different facets of India and the progress in various sectors like economic, industrial, educational, science & technology, communication & information technology, heritage & culture, etc. So far 65 editions of the prestigious KIP have been conducted with a total of 2296 participants.
The KIP programme is being expanded and revamped to reflect elements of 'New India' and the vision of ‘Amrit Kaal’. MEA plans to organise 66th & 67th KIP Programme in the revamped mode. 66th & 67th KIPs are scheduled from 30 July to 18 August, 2023 and 13 August to 1 September 2023, respectively.
