National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation

National Industrial Corridor Development Programme is India's most ambitious infrastructure programme aiming to develop new industrial cities as "Smart Cities" and converging next generation technologies across infrastructure sectors. Government of India is developing various industrial corridor projects as part of the National Industrial Corridor Programme, which is aimed at development of futuristic industrial cities in India, which can compete with the best manufacturing and investment destinations in the world.  National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation Limited (NICDC) is the Special Purpose Vehicle established to oversee this program.

There are 32 Projects in 4 Phases under 11 Corridors forming part of National Infrastructure Pipeline. Greenfield Smart Cities will be developed around these corridors with features of plug and play infrastructure, multi model connectivity, walk to work concept environment clearance, integrated city planning etc.

Under Phase 1 Dholera (Gujarat), Shendra Bidkin (Maharashtra), Greater Noida (Uttar Pradesh) and Vikram Udyogpuri (Madhya Pradesh) are already developed and land parcels are available for immediate allotment.

Total 289 plots admeasuring nearly 1717 acre have been allotted till date with anchor investors like HYOSUNG (South Korea), NLMK (Russia), HAIER (China), TATA Chemicals, Piramal Pharma & AMUL etc. Tata Electronics Pvt Ltd. is investing of over 91,000 Cr (INR) to set up Semiconductor Fab in Dholera, Gujarat with Power chip Semiconductor Manufacturing Company.
